iClick Interactive names chief operating officer

Following its acquisition of OptAim Technology (OptAim), iClick Interactive has named Jan Tang, the founder of OptAim, as chief operating officer.Tang has been leading the business and technology integration of the two companies since the completion of the transaction and takes up the role of COO to oversee the company's business operations and spearhead its product development in China.Tang founded OptAim in 2012. He has a track-record in management and a strong technical background with extensive experience in product development, business operations and sales and marketing. Prior to founding OptAim, he was a product director who started and developed Tencent's advertising platform. He previously served key roles in Yahoo's global research center in the US and the research institutes of Baidu and Microsoft.Sammy Hsieh, chief executive and co-founder of iClick, said, cross-platform and mobile-first marketing was the future of online advertising and iClick Interactive was looing to bring more value to the data and technology space.
