iClick appoints GM for SEA

iClick Interactive Asia, an integrated advertising technology company, has appointed Raymond Teoh (pictured) as general manager, Southeast Asia.

Based in Singapore, Teoh focuses on the business expansion strategy of iClick in Southeast Asia. He also oversees the company’s client service, digital offerings cand business operations across the region.

Teoh reports to Sammy Hsieh, iClick’s co-Founder and CEO.

Teoh brings a wealth of advertising and sales experience in both traditional and digital media platforms, including online, mobile, print and TV. Before joining iClick, he was general manager for Greater China at Innity, where he helped the Malaysia-listed company establish its business presence and client network in mainland China, Taiwan and Hong Kong. Prior to that, Teoh held a senior position at Singapore Press Holdings, overseeing its interactive business.

Hsieh said, “Teoh’s cross-market experience in digital marketing and extensive industry knowledge about China will be of tremendous benefit to our clients in the region who are striving to make inroads into the world’s second largest economy.”

Teoh said, “I am excited to join iClick Interactive Asia. With China’s growth, brands in Southeast Asia – especially those in the tourism and hospitality sectors – are eager to reach and engage Chinese consumers. I see great opportunity for us to help them tap into the potential of this market.”
