Hotels.com has selected Madbox Consultant as its public relations agency of record in Hong Kong. Madbox Consultant, a newly formed PR firm led by Angel Yip, the former deputy general manager of Waggener Edstrom Communications in Hong Kong, won the business following an agency review process.“Madbox had impressed us with their forward-thinking, creative communications plan that fits our business in Hong Kong. We’re delighted to have partnered with them and we look forward to working with them as we continue to expand our presence in Hong Kong,” said Zoe Chan, PR Director, Asia Pacific of Hotels.com. Founded in 2014, Madbox is quickly gaining momentum in the industry, particularly with its consumer client wins. The agency currently services the public relations and communications needs of consumer clients such as Hong Kong Maxim’s Group and Genki Sushi, and Hotels.com is one of Madbox’s first clients with a global footprint. The agency is also looking to bolster its ranks to better service its growing clientele and to provide a greater range of integrated communications solutions for clients across different practices.“Travelling, like food and beverage, is something that is very close to heart of Hongkongers, and the appetite for Hongkongers to travel is only growing by year,” said Angel Yip, Chief Consultant at Madbox Consultant. “We couldn’t be more proud to have secured a global brand such as Hotels.com for our portfolio, and we are eager to work with them and expand the brand’s audience through our storytelling and communications expertise.”Source: Press release
