FedEx Express, a subsidiary of FedEx Corp, has launched its latest multi-market ad campaign to share the story of how a small hot pepper sauce maker from Nevis in the Caribbean, Llewellyn Clarke, realised his dream, as well as the dream of many small businesses of going global.Created by London agency AMV BBDO, the campaign is centred around a video capturing how FedEx helped Clarke on his quest to go global, transporting his hot pepper sauce from the small Caribbean island of Nevis across the world to a remote village in China. This journey culminates with colourful on-screen reactions of people worldwide trying his very hot pepper sauce for the first time.https://vimeo.com/113563831“Llewellyn’s story captures the passion and perseverance of so many small businesses around the world who dream of going global,” said Raj Subramaniam, executive vice-president of marketing and communications for FedEx Services.“Growing a business internationally is not easy, but it can offer big rewards to small businesses with the right product, market entry planning and supply chain strategies.”Malcolm Sullivan, vice-president of marketing for FedEx Express Asia Pacific, added: “Already, small businesses are the driving force of many domestic economies in APAC, contributing to jobs, innovation and the dynamism of our communities.”“FedEx is excited to be working with more and more small businesses in the region that are looking for ways to establish a foothold in overseas markets.”The media agency for the campaign globally was OMD.
