Honor enters Indonesia, strikes multiple partnerships to connect with youth

Honor has officially entered Indonesia through the launch of its three products, the Honor 9 Lite, the Honor View 10 and Honor 7X. To celebrate its arrival, the brand has made strategic partnerships to enhance the experiences in the space of music, gaming, photography and video creation.This includes Joox, an Asian music streaming app, to livestream an interview at the launch event with the renowned Australian singer and songwriter Lenka. Lenka composed and sung the Honor theme song "We are the Brave". Together, Honor and Joox aim to offer “edgy and trendy mobile music experiences” to the young in Indonesia and provide a hit across the country.Honor has also collaborated with three live-stream apps, namely Bigo Live, Live.me and Nonolive, to tap on their live broadcast facilities for the launch event. The cooperation looks bring a seamless live streaming experience for the fans of the four brands. The collaboration also fosters strategic resources exchange between the lead industry players to forge creative marketing initiatives.The mobile brand also teamed up with Tik Tok, a short video app in Indonesia, in a bid to communicate with young generation in their language and gets close to them. This saw Tik Tok joining the launch event and uploading interesting videos about hands-on experiences of Honor's unrivalled products.Other partnerships include VNG, the distributor of the top-chart battle royale game Rules of Survival, which sees Honor sponsoring gaming tournaments. Honor is also planning to cooperate with photo-editing app Camera360 Ultimate to bring its legacy cameras and Camera 360 Ultimate's creative software together to create sharable photos.“All the initiatives in our partnership embody one common goal: to bring the best user experience to our target audience – the young generation and people who are young at heart. These are our commitment to the Indonesian fans of Honor and we look forward to creating more exciting experience with global partners in years to come,” George Zhao, president of Honor, said.
