Hong Kong Disneyland Resort (HKDL) is celebrating Mickey Mouse's 90th anniversary by holding multiple celebrations and a fund-raising campaign for Make-A-Wish Hong Kong.Named "World's Biggest Mouse Party", the campaign offers the "We Love Mickey!" project show - a visual extravaganza that highlights Mickey's career along Main Street, U.S.A. The show transforms the buildings of Main Street, U.S.A. into a canvas of vibrant, colourful visuals that pay tribute to Mickey’s major milestones, with visual displays of Mickey through the ages. This birthday edition is enhanced with lyrics reflecting a special message for Mickey, inviting participants to join together to celebrate Mickey's birthday. To celebrate Mickey’s birthday yesterday, HKDL hosted “Mickey’s 90th Anniversary Celebration” and invited hundreds of Mickey fans, including Hong Kong-based artist and singer Kay Tse, community members of Make-A-Wish Foundation, Disney VoluntEARS and other Disney Characters to a party along Main Street, U.S.A.."I’ve shared so many memorable moments in my life with Mickey, especially at Hong Kong Disneyland. Throughout it all, Mickey has been a constant source of happiness and positivity for my family and friends," said Tse.HKDL also invites guests to take photos showing off their “Mickey Mouse ears” as Disney has extended its Share Your Ears campaign running until 27 November 2018. Guests are invited to snap a photo with a creative Mickey pose and upload it onto Facebook, Instagram or Twitter with the hashtag #ShareYourEars. For every public post, Disney will donate US$5 to Make-A-Wish, up to US$1 million to grant even more wishes.“On behalf of Make-A-Wish Hong Kong, we are delighted to deliver birthday wishes to Mickey today and to thank him for bringing Wish Children and their families in Hong Kong and around the world hope, strength and joy over the years," said Kevin Lau, chairman of Make-A-Wish Foundation of Hong Kong.Apart from celebrating Mickey's 90th anniversary, guests visiting HKDL can also enjoy an authentic Christmastime experience - with a Disney-style glow –  until January 1, 2019.
