International internet-based market research and data analytics firm YouGov has revealed that VISA is the most positively perceived brand in Hong Kong, while Japanese causal wear brand Uniqlo comes second.
Luxury watch brand Rolex drops a place to third and Octopus Card is in the fourth spot, ahead of Nike in fifth.
The organisation also announced the most improved brand health table and airlines feature prominently. China Airlines from Taiwan is the most improved brand while China Eastern Airlines comes second. Malaysian Airlines joints Lancôme to become the third.
YouGov’s annual brand health rankings were derived from a 52-week rolling average of the index score, which assesses overall brand health. Brand’s quality, value, impression, satisfaction, reputation and whether consumers would recommend the brand to others are scrutinised to form this table.
YouGov also releases the global annual brand health rankings for 2018. Google is ahead of all other brands while YouTube and Samsung are ranked second and third respectively.
