The morning session titled “Dear Brands, Let’s Sail to the Future!” is centred on innovative marketing strategies and tips on how brands can take the lead on industry trends. These international and local heavyweights will talk about meeting customer appetites in a competitive environment. It will also reveal the details of how future marketers build narratives and enhance brand experiences.
CMO of the American talent agency Endeavor, Bozoma Saint John is a marketing and advertising trailblazer. Having worked with exciting innovators such as iTunes & Apple Music and Uber, she is known to steal the stage with her strong presence and magnetic delivery.
Another speaker, Jonathan Mildenhall, Co-Founder and CEO of TwentyFirstCenturyBrand, is an expert in global brand stewardship. Along with evolving Airbnb into a global superbrand, he led the initiative that resulted in Coke’s highest profit growth in decades and became the most awarded platform in the company’s history.
Head of Global Brand Marketing of Burger King, Dr Marcelo Pascoa is a creative paragon. Driven by a desire to produce real change on the world’s stage as well as generate a positive result for clients, his efforts have earned multiple awards including The Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, The Clio Awards, The Jay Chiat Awards and The Effie Awards.
The afternoon session, “Say Hi to the Cool China Gen Z” will share the latest insights on engaging this rising Chinese age group, who are believed to be the next big spenders and our future consumers. Partner of Yitiao, Li Hui; Head of Digital & Innovation of Zenith China, Publicis Groupe, Jude Chan; and Director of International Business Department of JiangXiaoBai, Fu Peng are the speakers.
Fu – who will be examining the generational differences – has always put his gut instincts and innate understanding of consumer feelings at the forefront of his career practice, once stating, “The key to survive today is communicating with customers in a deeper level with empathy.”
There will also be five Digital Marketing Workshops newly introduced this year to bestow the necessary knowledge and tools to overcome challenges presented by rapid digital innovation.
One highlight will be “The Power of Data: A Digital Marketing Formula – Mapping Out How to Win in China”. Speakers from Baidu international and iClick Interactive Asia will examine the key advantages of adopting a data-driven multichannel marketing strategy designed for marketing and media executives seeking to learn more about the various channels to reach Chinese outbound travellers.
“How Augmented Intelligence (A.I.) Assist Influencer Marketing Campaign Management and Amplify the Brand Affinity?” will feature a lecture from Cloudbreakr. They’ll explain how the latest A.I. technology helps identify the strongest portfolio of influencer marketing that fits a brand’s affinity and will genuinely drive engagement with consumers.
Concluding the event will be “How to market yourself via LinkedIn”. In this workshop, participants will learn how to engage with their most valuable audiences by leveraging the full potential of LinkedIn Pages. At the same time, they can learn how to make the best professional impression on LinkedIn, with tips and tricks on how to “rock” individual profiles.
