H+K Strategies appoints new Asia head

Regional - Global PR firm Hill+Knowlton (H+K) Strategies has appointed a new head for its Asia operations with immediate effect.Taking over James Heimowitz, who has stepped down to pursue other opportunies, is John Morgan (pictured) who will serve as president and CEO for Asia, reporting to Jack Martin, global chairman of H+K.In his new position, he will be in charge of 14 offices across Asia."John is a communications veteran with more than a decade of experience managing agencies across Asia Pacific. I am confident he will continue his track record of building award-winning, high-performance offices in Asia as we continue to elevate the sophistication of our counsel and services," Martin said.Previously, Morgan held the position of executive vice president and chief operating officer for H+K Strategies. He had also served as chief operating officer for Asia Pacific and as managing director for Hong Kong.
