Hong Kong-based low cost carrier HK Express has handed public relations duties to Edelman, a move which sees the agency support its brand building activities, promotions and influencer engagement programs.
In late April the carrier revealed significant year-on-year growth in passenger numbers for the first quarter of 2015 and the month of March, including a milestone of two million passengers around Asia since transferring into a low-cost airline in October 2013.
Luke Lovegrove, the airline’s commercial director, said HK Express was thrilled to announce the partnership with Edelman.
HK Express empowers everyone to explore Asia at an affordable price and encourages guests to expand their horizons through travel. With various customer engagement campaigns throughout the year, HK Express is proud to be the people’s airline for both Hong Kong-based and international guests.
“We are excited to partner with HK Express, a brand that celebrates the adventurous and can-do spirit of the people of Hong Kong,” said Andres Vejarano, senior director at Edelman Hong Kong.
“We look forward to supporting HK Express’ PR and marketing initiatives to inspire travelers with more accessible travel options.”
