Hilton doubles down on MICE travellers to Malaysia in latest marketing push

Hilton hotels in Malaysia has rolled out its "Accomplishing More Together" MICE campaign for the fourth quarter of the year, recognising the potential surge of travellers into Malaysia. The campaign offers discounts and complimentary room plus upgrades, as part of the national meeting package for MICE travellers, and airport limousine transfers, among others.

This comes as Hilton's half-year tourism reports showed a 4.9% uptick of tourist arrivals into Malaysia. Reinforcing the "Meet with Purpose" concept, the three core pillars of the campaign include "Mindful Meeting", "Mindful Eating", and "Mindful Being".

"Mindful Meeting" focuses on?environmentally-friendly practices that help planners reduce their carbon footprint through Hilton's LightStay sustainability calculator, while "Mindful Eating" focuses on menus offering tasty and balanced dining choices. As for "Mindful Being", Hilton aims to offer guests engaging activities focused on?fitness, stress-relief, and giving back programmess, such as the Rise Against Hunger meal-packing partnership.

Jamie Mead, regional general manager (Malaysia,?Vietnam,?Philippines), said the?national meeting package is a reflection of Hilton's global mandate to catalyse local economic growth by investing in people and communities they operate in.

"More than just successful business meetings and conferences, Hilton hotels in?Malaysia?are changing how meetings are done through the pillars of 'Meet with Purpose'. These include incorporating sustainable practices, nutritious menus to increase productivity, and mindful breaks into meetings," he added.
