Here's what SPH is planning for its 30th year anniversary

Singapore Press Holdings (SPH) is flying in British artist Stephen Wiltshire to draw the Singapore skyline as a highlight of its 30th anniversary celebrations this year.The event called “See the Big Picture”, will see Wiltshire, who is an autistic savant, draw the Singapore cityscape from memory in full view of the public at the main atrium of Paragon from 16 to 20 July 2014, 10am to 5pm, every day.Take a sneak peak at Wiltshire's skills here:http://youtu.be/fNAzQJHg4TsWiltshire, who is in Singapore for the first time, will create his art after a brief helicopter ride sponsored by the Republic of Singapore Airforce (RSAF) on 15 July 2014. Upon its completion, the artwork will be presented to President Tony Tan Keng Yam, as SPH's gift to Singapore's 50th birthday in 2015.This event not only celebrates SPH’s 30 years of media achievements and growth from a print company to a multimedia conglomerate, but is also a showcase of SPH’s integrated media solutions, ranging from print, online, digital, radio, events to out-of-home media platforms.The completion ceremony of his artwork on Sunday, 20 July will be graced by Lawrence Wong, Minister of ministry of culture, community and youth and head of SG50 Programme office, as well as representatives from National Heritage Board (NHB), Singapore Tourism Board (STB), Ministry of Defence, Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA), and British High Commission.The week long event will also feature an exhibition of some of Wiltshire's best drawings of other cities, as well as an interactive booth that allows everyone to pose with his or her favourite Singapore architecture.
