An unusual company has joined the Christmas advert battle this year, and already, its emotional clip is competing with the likes of Marks and Spencer and John Lewis.
The new joiner, Heathrow Airport, released the ad, featuring two elderly bears returning from their travels to arrive home for Christmas, last week.
In the clip, the two fluffy characters make their way through baggage and customs, and wander out to look for their loved ones.
At the very end, the two lovely bears transform into two grandparents and are greeted by the grandchildren with bear hugs.
The ad has already been viewed more than 3.2 million times on YouTube since it launched on November 14. On the airport’s Facebook page, the ad has generated more than 75k likes, 147k shares and 8.6k comments.
Many lauded not only the cuteness of the two bears, but also for the excitement it captured when throwing your arms around your loved ones at Christmas.
