HBO Asia has appointed FALCON Agency to spearhead its social strategy, editorial planning, and paid social buying across Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Vietnam. Following the appointment, FALCON will be responsible for developing the social media framework across the four countries. The agency will also be working closely with both the regional and local teams in editorial planning, content creation and media buying on social channels.
According to Magdalene Ew, head of marketing, content, creative and programming, HBO Asia, FALCON displayed “a deep understanding of the social media space”, not only in Singapore but in the region as well.
“We’re confident that their data driven and performance based mindset will help us deliver results to promote our content on our streaming service, HBO GO and various bouquet of channels in the digital age,” Ew added.
“It is not often that we have the entire agency clamouring to be on an account. That is the prestige and allure of the HBO brand. We are both honored and excited by the possibilities and look forward to the partnership with HBO Asia,” Kelvin Koo, managing partner at FALCON Agency said.
The new account win adds to FALCON’s growing roster of clients. Among the list of accounts include Pizza Hut, Changi Rewards, Qantas and Klook Travel among others.
