LA-based performance marketing agency Hawthorne has expanded its coverage to Asia with the opening of a Hong Kong office. As an agency specializing in analytics-based ROI-first campaigns, Hawthorne sees Hong Kong as a prime location with the perfect infrastructure to provide a greater focus on adaptive and performance marketing to the region. Hawthorne states it is presently inking deals across SEA and has an eye on rapidly expanding markets such as Taiwan, Thailand, Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, and Indonesia. "I've always had a personal passion and interest in Asia and the market opportunities that exist within it," said Jessica Hawthorne-Castro, CEO. "Expanding into Asia with Hawthorne's data first-approach in advertising is a very unique proposition. Over the past several years, Hawthorne has built on its enviably premier reputation in direct response advertising with huge investments in data analytics, developing some of the most sophisticated response models in the world today." The new office tasked with overseeing Asia will be led by brand architecture and strategy specialist, Anant Deboor, who has already been based in HK since at least 2017. As an advertising strategy planner and brand consultant. Deboor has worked for brands such as HSBC, Unilever, Suntory, Rolex, Colgate-Palmolive, and KEF. Deboor said, "Despite the highly crowded marketplace in Asia, with several agencies offering data analytics expertise, Hawthorne stands unique in its ability to bring truly integrated offline and online analytics expertise to drive real, accurate ROI and performance metrics in communication. As a brand consultant and ad agency planner, I am really excited to be part of this new journey helping Hawthorne bring real marketing innovation into Asia-Pacific."
