Having trouble getting your kids to eat their fruits and veggies?

Disney Consumer Products and Interactive Media (DCPI) and Dole Food Company have partnered up to launch co-branded products which feature characters from Disney, Pixar, Marvel and Star Wars. According to a press statement, the partnership will see the supplying of fresh produce from Dole together with Disney branding, hit grocery and retail stores in the United States.This is not the first time Disney has partnered with a food brand. Last year, the conglomerate partnered with foodmaker Kellogg’s to bring Frozen-themed breakfast items for children. The two brands will also launch its first program this fall, followed by a host of other health and nutrition education programs themed around other Disney, Star Wars and Marvel films and characters in 2017.These programs will include consumer promotions, digital integrations, in-store activities, and themed recipes featuring Dole products to encourage kids and families to adopt a diet rich in fresh fruits and vegetables.“As an industry leader in licensed food, we are excited to pair our unrivaled portfolio of brands, characters and stories with Dole’s fresh fruits and vegetables to support parents as they encourage their kids to make healthier food choices,” Josh Silverman, executive vice president of global licensing, Disney Consumer Products and Interactive Media, said.“It’s rare that two iconic brands with as much passion and potential for improving the way America and the world eats can come together to make positive change,” Bil Goldfield, director of communications for the Dole Food Company, said.Recently in Singapore, Disney Junior Asia launched its “Magical Moments” campaign with Mediacorp OOH Media. This was done through an augmented reality stunt which involved interactive 6-sheet panels at a bus stop next to the Tampines regional library.  Meanwhile, organiser of Disney On Ice Feld Entertainment appointed Dentsu Aegis Network’s Vizeum as its media agency. The agency will be responsible for driving media planning and buying strategies across multiple mediums and platforms in Singapore.
