Havas Worldwide Siren hires GM

Havas Worldwide Siren has appointed Adrian Heng as general manager. Heng’s responsibilities will include overseeing the agency’s daily operations, focusing on driving business growth and providing senior counsel on client communication strategies including crisis communication.Heng will report to Karen Flynn, managing director, Havas Worldwide Siren.With more than 17 years of experience in communications and marketing, both on the agency and client side, Heng has provided senior counsel on strategy development, issues and crisis management, public engagement and 360 communications integration. He has conceptualised and implemented campaigns internationally for clients across diverse industries, including aviation, finance, FMCG, government, sports, technology and telecom, among others.“We have been looking for someone with maturity and a hands-on approach to successful client management. Adrian has the critical mix of developing successful brand strategy and client management that is necessary to manage Havas WW Siren going forward. He also brings with him an established network and crisis & issues management expertise,” said Flynn. “We are very pleased to have him on board and I am confident that his knowledge will boost Siren's plans for growth in the region.”Siren has been working very closely with its sister networks at Havas Worldwide, Havas Media, and Havas Sports & Entertainment to pursue a number of significant tenders and new business opportunities since December 2013 and the launch of Havas Village in Singapore in January.“The combination of the Havas Group strength is something that we intend to leverage fully to bring an exciting proposition to existing and new clients,” added Flynn.
