Havas Worldwide builds up regional team

Havas Worldwide has hired Sunny Hermano as business development & integration director, Southeast Asia. Hermano joins Havas in a newly created role and will be based in Thailand. Hermano (pictured) will report to Juan Rocamora, chairman of Havas Worldwide Asia Pacific.He will be part of the key regional team at Havas Worldwide and will work alongside the newly promoted chief operating officer, Levent Guenes to further develop the agency’s digital services.Most recently as the general manager of AGENDA Shanghai, a full-service integrated digital agency, he was instrumental in leading the overall business output of the agency as well as driving business growth. Prior to AGENDA, he was the group chief operating officer at Riverorchid, an independent brand communications agency that operates in Thailand, Laos, Myanmar, Vietnam and Cambodia. He managed the daily operations of the Thailand agencies and established the digital arm, Riverorchid Digital.“Together with our current regional team, we now have experienced talents with capabilities across strategic planning, creative excellence, digital services, account management, and business development. We are moving to the next phase of growth and he’s just the man for the job to drive positive change for Havas Worldwide Southeast Asia,” said Rocamora.
