Havas’ Socialyse bags Beijing Benz’s social media AOR

Beijing Benz Automotive Co. Ltd (BBAC) has appointed Socialyse, the social media agency of Havas, as the social AOR in China.

The agency won the business following a competitive three-way pitch, involving Ogilvy.

Havas China, through Socialyse, will be responsible for crafting BBAC’s social media strategy for 2016 with the agency’s work scope covering management of social platforms, content creation and planning as well as promotion of above- and below-the-line campaigns.

Bryan Wang, managing director of Socialyse China, said: “Havas and Socialyse are honored to be the social media partner of BBAC and we are convinced that the cooperation will further enhance the brand influence, consolidating Beijing Benz the leadership in high-end automotive industry in China. We are looking forward to developing an engaging social media strategy for the brand by leveraging its existing and new social media assets for Beijing Benz.”

The agency offers a multichannel approach in Beijing and Shanghai for luxury, tourism and finance clients, including Hermès, Hugo Boss, Remy Martin, Dubai Tourism, Emirates Airlines, AIA Group and AXA Tianping etc.

The partnership took effect in February 2016.
