As part of a rebranding operation, aiming to underline a simpler and more transparent corporate structure, Havas has renamed the Euro RSCG Worldwide network and its agencies as Havas Worldwide.
The Havas group will now consist of two main brands: Havas Media and Havas Creative.
Havas Media will include all global media agencies while Havas Creative will include the Havas Worldwide network, the Arnold Worldwide micro-network, a Havas business unit and all other communications agencies.
The rebranding also includes the creation of Havas Digital Group, a new umbrella brand that will operate across both media and creative.
Havas Digital Group will purely be a brand name as opposed to a new network, reflecting on Havas’s commitment to its digital at the core model.
Euro RSCG agencies will also be renamed Havas Worldwide and The Euro RSCG 4D network will become Havas Worldwide Digital. Euro RSCG Life will be called Havas Life and Euro RSCG Worldwide PR will now be known as Havas PR. The rebrand will not create any changes in leadership.
Havas claims the new structure implements a clearer business model that places digital at the core of all its activities. It also unifies creative and media assets to strengthen the visibility of its global brand.
David Jones, global CEO Havas comments: “A decade ago, we set ourselves apart by being the first major communication holding company placing digital at the core of all our creative agencies.”
Jones (pictured) also added that through the integration of creative, media and digital, the network will offer clients a “powerful combination of creative excellence, scale agility and innovation.”
Havas Worldwide APAC chairman Juan Rocamora said: “This re-branding helps us proactively simplify our own future so we can transform it, bringing innovation, creativity and performance to the forefront of all we do, in an organisation that is easy to understand and simple to work with.”
