Havas Media Group China has appointed Bryan Wang (pictured) as head of Socialyse, Havas Mediaâ€™s social media brand.
In his new role, Wang will be based in Shanghai and report directly to Eduardo Mapa Jr., CEO of Havas Media Digital China.
He will work closely with the growing digital practices in Shanghai and Beijing, and is tasked with raising the agencyâ€™s profile in the digital space and championing innovative thinking and ideas across the China market.
Wang is a seasoned digital professional with over eight years of China experience in digital and integrated communications.
Heâ€™s been recognised for his strategic thinking and insights into the China digital market and environment, boasting an extensive and impressive track record across a diverse mix of industries, including FMCG, Internet, IT, Lifestyle, Telecom and Hospitality.
Previously, Wang worked as account director at Edelman/Pegasus, where his responsibilities included establishing the agencyâ€™s social media business, and subsequently leading the team to serve clients such as BlackBerry, Tencent, HP, Bose, Sands, MasterCard, Dicos, BMW and Shell.
