Havas Media Singapore promotes Russell Lai to GM role

Havas Media Singapore has promoted Russell Lai (pictured), most recently executive director, to the role of general manager, reporting to Jacqui Lim, CEO of Havas Media Singapore. Prior to the move, Lai had been with Havas Medias for three years.During his time as executive director, Lai was responsible for managing some of the agency’s key clients and is credited with leading a portfolio of flagship clients and supporting the agency’s new business strategy. He also led media pitches for brands such as Gardens By The Bay, Cycle & Carriage, CapitaLand Group, FairPrice and Esplanade, to name a few. Before Havas Media, Lai worked at UM as a senior business director and has also had stints at Zenith Optimedia and PHD.In a statement, Lim said that the promotion is a well-deserved one for Lai, as he has played an important role in Havas Media Singapore’s growth story.
