Havas Media Group bolsters client transformation with new global lead

Havas Media Group has appointed Gordana Buccisano (pictured) as executive vice president, global client transformation. In her new role, she will be tasked to drive transformational change and help unlock untapped business potential and new client solutions.Buccisano brings with her over 18 years of experience in leading global clients and their business and digital transformation agenda. She will be based in London and report to Marc Schader, Havas Media Group’s chief client officer.Buccisano was most recently Publicis global clients’ head of business and commercial planning, where she designed an eCommerce end-to-end client solution and last year launched Publicis Media’s global commerce practice. She started her career with Publicis Groupe and as a global client lead, she ran multi-million dollar accounts such as Aviva, Bacardi-Martini, Electrolux, and Reckitt Benckiser. Promoted to head of client solutions/managing director at ZenithOptimedia International, Buccisano implemented a new client solutions framework to retain Zenith global clients and drive their business and transformation agenda.Buccisano said Havas Media has the creativity, data, and, increasingly, the technology to make a difference and to be the partners for growth that clients need. “Our clients expect that from us, and in the advertising ecosystem, as their communications partners, we are the best placed to drive the transformational solutions for our clients and help drive the profitable growth,” she added.Schader said Buccisano’s understanding and expertise in global client management and digital marketing, as well as her reputation for excellence in commercial matters, make her a “wonderful fit” for the new Havas Media mission. “She is a charismatic and passionate leader, highly personable and warm, with the highest level of integrity and professionalism,” he added.Buccisano’s appointment is the latest in a series of hires that furthers Havas Media Group’s commitment to meaningful media. Earlier this month, the group named a new chief growth officer. Based in New York, Erin Flaxman will report to Havas Media Group global CEO Peter Mears.
