Pfizer Consumer Healthcare has appointed Havas Media as its media agency of record.
The appointment comes following a pitch late last year involving three agencies. The scope covers media planning and buying for Singapore and will entail strategy development, media planning and buying for household brand names such as Centrum, Imedeen and Caltrate.
According to Havas Media, the reported media spending for Pfizer is more than SG$3m on an annual basis. The appointment starts from March 2015 and is for a year with an option to extend for another.
Jacqui Lim (pictured), managing director, head of front office and as chief client officer for Havas Media in Singapore and Malaysia said: “Pfizer Consumer Healthcare has very interesting and varied brands that seek to engage a wide spectrum of audiences. As its media agency, we are tasked to have a deep understanding of these different audience segments and their perception and barriers to adopting healthcare supplements in order to devise effective ways to retain and convert new customers.”
