Former Havas CEO joins Bloomberg LP as CCO

The former global CEO of Havas Creative Group, Andrew Benett, has recently joined Bloomberg as global chief commercial officer.The appointment is effective immediately, and Benett will be based out of Bloomberg LP's global headquarters in New York City to assume global responsibility for Bloomberg Media's sales, advertising operations, integrated franchises, consulting and marketing services, as well as efforts to institutionalize innovation across the commercial organization.His focus will be on accelerating Bloomberg Media’s commercial success through the transformation of its business model from a media owner to an integrated marketing services and consulting entity.Benett left Havas Creative Group after 13 years in the company in February this year. He first joined Havas Worldwide as global chief strategy officer in 2004, when it was then known as Euro RSCG Worldwide. Since then, he ran the flagship New York office, the Arnold global micro network, and was appointed global CEO of Havas Creative Group and Havas Worldwide in January 2014.According to the agency, the creative group went through huge growth and transformation under his leadership.
