Regional - Gushcloud, which pays users to talk about brands on social media, has tied up with affiliate marketing network The Affiliate Gateway (TAG).TAG is an affiliate marketing network, offering consumers or partners commission for promoting a brand's marketing initiatives and obtaining purchases.Clients under TAG include several e-commerce sites such as Fareastflora.com, Zalora, Expedia, Courts, Showbizasia.com.Max Bush, network director, TAG, said that the company partnered Gushcloud for their large number of socially active users, which would add scale and value to its client brand programmes. What TAG's offering would add to Gushcloud's would be its capabilities in the sales process. TAG rewards users or partners for sales made through their referrals.Operating on a "performance only basis", TAG charges clients a one-time setup fee with a low monthly retainer. It has offices in Singapore, Hong Kong, Australia and the UK.Bush also added that this would give TAG's advertisers the opportunity to advertise on both social media and affiliate marketing platforms without needing to invest large budgets."Affiliate marketing in Singapore is clearly growing at quite some rate but adoption on a larger scale is still emerging," he added. Bush said that there were similar models in India and Australia at present, but none as large as TAG in Southeast Asia yet.As for Gushcloud, it has a platform of users, paying them to "gush" about its client brands on social media. It has also launched more engagement tools such as Gush Ad, asking users to take part in advertisements and surveys for its clients for rewards and cash.Gushcloud currently has offices in the United States, Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia. It is founded and led by Vincent Ha (pictured).
