Grapeshot appoints PR partner

Having established its Singapore office in 2014, Grapeshot has also expanded its local Singapore team and now hired Golin to handle regional communications responsibilities.

This is following a four-way pitch. The Asia Pacific wide retainer will include strategy and planning, content marketing and media relations to drive a deeper understanding of Grapeshot’s programmatic offering across the region and its importance in providing brand-safe, content-relevant messaging to consumers.

Grapeshot’s advanced content classification and analytics technology enables buyers of programmatic media to move to targeted, individual buys and sync advertising messaging to content environments in which they are delivered; better results are driven by increased relevancy to consumers’ immediate needs and interests.

The technology supports customised targeting in 30 languages, 10 of which are uniquely relevant to APAC. For brands, Grapeshot’s technology ensures placement of ads in brand-safe environments; for publishers, Grapeshot increases the value of online real estate.

Chris Pattinson (pictured), SVP, Grapeshot Asia Pacific said, “At a time when consumers demand relevance, programmatic is becoming increasingly important to advertisers. APAC encompasses over 50% of the world’s connected audience and is a region adopting programmatic at a faster rate than anywhere else. As we grow in the region, we need a partner who understands the landscape and can distil our core offering to communicate our USPs succinctly. Golin understands marketing and technology and how to tell compelling channel-agnostic stories. ”

Tarun Deo, managing director of Golin Singapore said, “We’re very pleased to begin our partnership with Grapeshot and further strengthen our technology portfolio. Our unique g4 agency structure is particularly suited to this task and will add significant value to Grapeshot’s endeavors.”
