Google announced its new features for site analysis tool Google Analytics.
The new features include Multi-Channel funnels, which track the paths and level of interaction upon visiting a site, thereby giving website owners an insight into the channels that influence their customers’ decisions.
Besides that, Google Analytics now features an improved social interaction tracking system that tracks user interactions with the Facebook, +1 and twitter buttons on the site .
Founder of local coupon site MilkADeal, Wilson Quah, has been using Google Analytics to analyse data and manage its resources effectively. Through Google Analytics, MilkADeal had been able run tactical search and acquire more subscribers.
“With the new enhancements in Google Analytics, Malaysian marketers and site owners are able to discover which online marketing initiatives are cost effective and see how visitors actually interact with sites. This leads to more informed site design improvements, drives targeted traffic, and increases conversions and profits,” Vinoaj Vijeyakumaar, head of web Analytics Google Southeast Asia, said.
