Goodridge to step down from Edipresse Asia

After 10 as CEO of Edipresse Asia, Barrie Goodridge is stepping down from the role.Goodridge joined the luxury publishing group in 2004 as regional director for Asia and was appointed its CEO in 2005.Edipresse Group, owned by Lamunière family, operates a number of titles across the region including luxury magazine Tatler, Home Journal, Revolution and custom magazines Cotai Style and LANDMARK.Stepping in to replace Goodridge as chairman of Edipresse Media in Asia from 1 March is Michel Lamunière, who will relocate from Switzerland to Hong Kong.Lamunière is no stranger to the region, he spent six years in Asia, first in China working for Nestlé in sales and marketing and then joining the top management of Edipresse Media in Hong Kong from 2008 to 2011. He has since held the position of vice president of Edipresse Group.The company said his appointment shows the Lamunière family’s strong commitment to develop the Edipresse Group’s Asian operations, adding the transition has been long planned and made in full cooperation with Goodridge."Having grown the Tatler brand immensely over the past 11 years as well as successfully developing new businesses in digital, events and custom publishing, Barrie now wishes to focus more on his family business interests and concentrate on some personal projects," a statement said.Pierre Lamunière, chairman of Edipresse Group added it has been a pleasure to work with Goodridge all these years."We are grateful for his achievements and wish him the very best for the future. I am also happy that Barrie will be available in the coming months to assist Michel in the transition phase."I want to sincerely thank him for over 11 years of collaboration with Edipresse”.In line with Michel’s appointment, Sebastien Lamunière and Michel Preiswerk will be part of Edipresse Media Board in Asia
