IPG’s PR agency Golin has hired Ema Linaker as digital executive director in Hong Kong.
Linaker previously led Edelmanâ€™s digital marketing & communications practice in the Middle East and before that, founded and built Social@Ogilvy, Ogilvy & Matherâ€™s social practice, developing it into an eight-country regional unit.Â Linaker began her career at Google.
Linaker will be responsible for mapping the digital user experience journey to action, agile portfolio and program management, web and mobile application delivery, digital experience platform planning including CMS, WEM, and DMS, and finally, paid media planning including SEO and SEM.
She will report directly to Hong Kong managing director Jane Morgan, who commented, â€śWorking closely with our growing data and analytics team, sheâ€™ll be able to forge ahead with strategic digital planning that is led by data-driven information and insights. What that means for clients is simply less risk with their marketing dollars and more concrete business results.â€ť
