General Mills names APAC media agency partner

General Mills has named Mindshare as its global media agency, with the WPP media group taking on duties for General Mills across the Asia Pacific region.

Details of the Asia Pacific business are still being worked out, a General Mills spokesperson told to Marketing.

The decision was made after a wide ranging global media review, where Mindshare was chosen to handle its US business as well as support General Mills in Europe, Africa, Middle East and Asia.

General Mills owns a number of household consumer brands from Häagen-Dazs to Cheerios cereal and Betty Crocker dessert mixes.
