Global brand consultancy FutureBrand has appointed Li Wen Chua (pictured) as strategy director. Based in Singapore, Chua will report to Catherine Barr Randall, executive director Southeast Asia. Prior to the move, Chua was an associate account director at Jigsaw Communispace since 2015, according to her LinkedIn.
Chua has experience in branding, insights and innovation, after spending a decade working in China on both local and regional engagements for clients such as Audi, AB InBev and L’Oreal. Her appointment follows FutureBrand naming Carola Gerlach its creative director earlier this year.
“I am excited to be joining FutureBrand Asia Pacific as the company continues to drive a compelling combination of deep consumer immersion with the strategic insight that leads to creative solutions – for clients in Singapore and beyond,” Chua said.
“We are thrilled Li Wen has chosen to join FutureBrand – she will bring her consumer insights expertise and China market knowledge to strengthen our team and offer to our clients across Asia Pacific. Our local market expertise has been strengthened this year by our uniquely integrated regional presence, and I’m confident that Li Wen will only amplify this,” Barr Randall said.
Among the list of clients FutureBrand has worked with in Singapore and Southeast Asia include A*STAR, Danone, DBS Bank, Johnson & Johnson, the National Council of Social Services, Lendlease and Onyx Hospitality Group.
