FutureBrand appoints APAC chairman

FutureBrand has appointed Susie Hunt (pictured) to chair its Asia Pacific operations, with responsibility for its offices in Singapore, Shanghai, Beijing, Hong Kong, Melbourne and Sydney.Hunt has spent the majority of her career in Asia and is based in Singapore.Most recently, she co-founded Singapore and London headquartered brand experience consultancy HuntHaggarty whose clients include Google, Dell, Coca Cola, Unilever, Motorola, Nokia, Benefit Cosmetics, Under Armour and Cathay Pacific Airways.She has also occupied a number of senior positions in the region, including Asia Pacific regional director at Enterprise IG and communications planning director at JWT in Sydney.Hunt assumes her new role in May and will combine it with current HuntHaggarty responsibilities including senior marketing advisory roles for companies such as Revlon in India.At FutureBrand, she will oversee the region and clients such as UOB, PETRONAS, Fiji Airways, HostPLUS, Bank of Shanghai, Singapore Police Force and Asia Breweries Incorporated.Patrick Smith, CEO at FutureBrand, said: “This position and its particular responsibilities have been created to better deliver FutureBrand’s company vision in the region, raise our profile and build on the success of work for clients such as Fiji Airways, which recently won the Rebrand 100 and Brand Impact awards.”Hunt added that FutureBrand’s strategic point of view on branding and skills are highly relevant to this exciting region and I look forward to working with the team and our clients here for shared success.”Earlier this year, FutureBrand’s president, Asia Pacific, Sarah Reiter has left the business. While Dan Dimmock and Karine Uehara have both already stepped up into the managing director, Southeast Asia and managing creative director, Southeast Asia roles respectively.
