Livescape has appointed Fulford Public Relations to manage the communications campaign for Future Music Festival Asia 2015 (FMFA), the region’s largest music festival. The two-day festival, which will be making its Singapore debut from 13 – 14 March, 2015, brings together an unparalleled line-up of world renowned musical acts including Avicii, Afrojack and Fatboy Slim, and will be held at the Changi Exhibition Centre.Fulford PR’s win was attributed to its sound understanding of the event and the FMFA brand, as well as it having demonstrated experience with large-scale, mass participation events such as the World Gourmet Summit, Standard Chartered Marathon Singapore, International Premier Tennis League and Singapore Jewelfest.Livescape Asia’s head of PR, Jason Kong, said: “Fulford PR presented great strategic and tactical ideas and a strong PR campaign, which will be critical for our debut in Singapore. It was important for us to have an agency that understands the festival and appreciates the complexity of executing a big event such as FMFA and above all has a strong understanding of the local media landscape.”Ross Collett, regional director for Fulford PR, said the opportunity to work on FMFA was a fantastic one for the agency. “Livescape has a clear strategy and direction. They are renowned for their events and are bringing a line-up of world-class acts and sophisticated production to Singapore. The team is excited to be working with a client that has great energy and one of the best events in Asia. We aim to deliver the best publicity campaign for the March festival and ensure that Livescape’s latest venture is a success all round.”Previously held in Malaysia, FMFA is hoping for strong support from fans in Singapore and the region for its debut in the Lion City, targeting an estimated 50,000 turnout over the two day festival.
