Samsung Electronics has partnered with Oscar-nominated actor and director James Franco for a end of year campaign for its Galaxy Camera.
Franco will not only direct and star in a new video for the Galaxy Camera, but will use the device to give his fans a real-time insight into the Hollywood industry through his social networks. From now until 5 January 2013, Franco will be shooting, editing and sharing photographs as he posts them on his personal Twitter and Facebook pages.
Franco will also share his advice for party-goers on capturing the festivities through a video where viewers will see him navigate a variety of party scenarios. This video will be the third time Franco and Samsung have collaborated this year. Previous productions include, “Fact Checkers Unit” and “The Ultimate Multi-tasker,” a video for the Galaxy Note 10.1.

His ability to find inspiration in any field makes him the perfect fit for the Galaxy Camera”, said Heesun Kim, director of global mobile marketing at Samsung.
From now until 10 February 2013, those from London and New York can also upload images which show how much they love their respective cities and five winners a week from each city stand a chance to win the Galaxy Camera.
In addition, three overall winners from each city will be given the chance to have their own image on the cover of Time Out magazine.
