Flare BBDO Shanghai launched in China

BBDO has announced the launch of Flare in China. Flare Shanghai is part of a global content agency and video production company under BBDO, which marks the 16th branch worldwide.Flare was established in 2013 in London, successfully helping BBDO tap into the video content area to meet the ever-changing needs from its brand clients for video content, including online videos, internal videos, documentaries, training videos, live videos, behind the scenes, interviews, case study videos, previews, as well as different kinds of static shooting. Yeweng will oversee all production processes and manage a team that includes producers, editors and illustrators, and supervise freelance directors. He will work closely with the creative team to develop a more efficient way to show video content at high quality, excellent speed and better price.Flare BBDO Shanghai has already been serving BBDO’s customers in Greater China, including the Tourism Australia, HP, General Electric and some government projects."With the unprecedented volume of available video content, consumers have turned a blind eye to advertising, making the biggest challenge for creative optimisation,” said Andrew Robertson, global president and CEO of BBDO. “We have to produce creative according to the nature and characteristics of different platforms, and leverage the new channels to tell the brand story.
