Fitch appoints Simon Stacey as executive creative director

Fitch has appointed Simon Stacey to the role of executive creative director, South East and North Asia. Reporting to global chairman and CCO, Tim Greenhalgh, Stacey will lead the design teams in China, Hong Kong and Singapore, as well as play an integral role on the Fitch Global Creative Council.He has replaced Darren Watsons who was previously the executive creative director.With over 25 years of experience, Stacey will direct the overall design function across the region from the FITCH Singapore studio. In the past he had led the growth of international icon brands such as Amazon, Christian Louboutin, Dunhill, Harrods, Infiniti, Liberty, Orange, Selfridges, Tesco, The Conran Shop, Toyota, Waitrose and Virgin.Andrew Crombie, CEO for South East and North Asia, Fitch said, “Stacey joins FITCH at a time of significant opportunity in Asia as we seek to broaden our reach across Asia and the Pacific.”Stacey added, “Fitch has been at the forefront of retail and brand design for over 40 years, always combining the best in creative thinking, design excellence and commercial rigour. I am excited about becoming part of the global and regional team focused on transforming retail for a new era of customer.”Stacey will assume his new appointment from 16 January 2017.
