Finnair picks Mango PR to build awareness and brand affinity among Singaporeans

Finnair has appointed Mango PR to handle PR and communications duties in Singapore following a pitch held in September this year. The agency previously led the launch of the Finnair A350 XWB aircraft on its Singapore-Helsinki route in 2016.Mango PR will work with Finnair on a campaign to build awareness and affinity for the brand with the Singapore audience, by highlighting the airline's core messaging and unique positioning, while championing its position as a significant European player in Asia. Additionally, the agency will focus on media relations, influencer engagement and event activations to reinforce the airline's commitments to efficiency, sustainability, design and doing things the Nordic way.Marketing has reached out to Mango PR for additional information about the pitch.According to Mari Rouvi, communications manager at Finnair, the agency was chosen as its proposed approach was "particularly on point and astutely aligned" with its plans for 2019. "Mango PR proved a thorough understanding of our brand and their expertise and credentials in the travel and tourism sector make them a partner of choice as we accelerate our growth in this part of Asia," Rouvi added.Sarah Curra, CEO at Mango PR, said it is delighted to work alongside the Finnair team again, this time fully focused on realising the brand's growth aspirations in Singapore and as a contender in the Asia-Europe traffic."Having a reputable airline such as Finnair choose to work with Mango PR once again, and on a larger scale, is testament to the exceptional track record of our Singapore team," she said.
