The Dentsu Aegis Network-owned mobile agency Fetch continues its expansion into Asia, appointing Kelvin Yim as general manager for Hong Kong.
Yim joins the agency from Reprise Media, where he held the role of director of search marketing.
At Fetch he report directly into global chief operating officer Greg Grimmer and will have a remit to lead the strategic direction of Fetch in Asia Pacific.
Fetch in Hong Kong already services clients from Hotels.com and Expedia in the region, along with Uber and eBay.
Grimmer said Fetch has “big ambitions for Asia” and was finding solid demand from global clients to execute mobile campaigns in the region.
“We looked long and hard for a leader with the right blend of expertise and local knowledge, Kelvin fits the bill perfectly,” he said.
Yim, who also worked with Yahoo Hong Kong for a decade, said Asia and especially Hong Kong, was the most exciting place to be for mobile marketing and technology today.
“Fetch’s strength lies in its passion for driving success for its clients via the mobile channel. As someone who loves driving results for clients through various planning strategies I already feel a strong connection and similarity with the company, this is an opportunity I cannot miss.”
