Ferrero Taps Grey To Head SEA Growth Plans

Regional - As a part of a plan to bolster its presence across Southeast Asia, Ferrero has tapped WPP's Grey Group to run its ad account.The 24-month contract takes in two Ferrero brands Ferrero Rocher and Kinder Bueno. Grey Group and its shopper marketing arm Grey DPI will oversee branding initiatives, activation, point-of-sale, promotions and digital.Responsibility will span across five Southeast Asia markets, including Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and the Philippines."Southeast Asia is an important region for us as it is real opportunity for the company as a huge engine of growth in our business development in Asia," Leonardo Perrone de Almeida, marketing director of Ferrero SEA, said.Currently, Grey is managing creative duties for Ferroro Rocher in India, while Grey DPI handles the shopper marketing initiatives in Hong Kong.
