Experian loses Beardsell

Experian’s VP sales & marketing APAC Graeme Beardsell has left the company to take on a new role at Canadian IT solutions firm Solace Systems.

Beardsell (pictured) will take on the role of senior VP & MD APAC and will be tasked to grow the company’s presence in the APAC market.

Currently Solace Systems has offices in Hong Kong, Japan and Singapore and is looking to expand across the region to include India, China and Australia.

Beardsell reports to the founder of the company Craig Betts.

He joined as Experian’s VP sales & marketing APAC in 2009 and was tasked to lead growth of Experian’s credit services, decision analytics and marketing services business as well as strengthen the company’s position across the region. In his previous role, he reported to Ken Sansom, Asia Pacific president for Experian.

While there is no direct replacement for him at Experian, the duties are split between several others, Experian told Marketing.

Prior to Experian, Beardsell was general manager for Misys Asia Pacific and has 23 years of sales, marketing and business development experience in the enterprise software sector.
