The shortlist for the inaugural Agency of the Year Awards Indonesia was announced last week, and this week Marketing is delighted to reveal the shortlist for the Rising Star awards.
In addition to recognising and rewarding the best advertising and marketing agencies across Indonesia, the Agency of the Year Awards ceremony will also present four rising star trophies. These titles were designed to celebrate the young and up-and-coming talents behind the great campaigns we see across the country.
Judged by a panel of senior, client-side marketers and industry experts, our entrants were evaluated and scrutinised based on their evidence of creativity, innovation and originality of ideas, strategic thinking, excellent execution, and successful results.
The judges commented that the breakthrough ideas demonstrated by the young talents are the new profit engine for the industry. They said that their strategic thinking and understanding of the local market’s requirement is a notable achievement, with one judge particularly heartened to see “campaigns that reflect Indonesia rather than just following global trends”.
Eight entrants have been selected for the shortlist and from this titles will be awarded to the Rising Star of the Year (Creative Agency), Rising Star of the Year (Independent Agency), Rising Star of the Year (PR Agency) and Rising Star of the Year (Social / Digital Agency).
We look forward to seeing all these talented young people at the awards ceremony, hosted on 24 October 2019 at InterContinental Jakarta, Pondok Indah Hotel, Indonesia.
