Spotted yesterday was this unfortunate ad placement by Emirates airline.
The ad was placed on The Straits Times’s online edition, next to a tragic article on a missing plane with 18 passengers dead.
Unfortunately, Emirates’ ad runs cheerfully next to it, assuring customers they can sleep “ridiculously well” in its business class seats.
To be fair, in the fast-paced world of advertising and news, this is not the first incident we’ve seen. Here are a few other brands that have been in the same plight.
