EDB seeks PR support in Germany

The Economic Development Board (EDB) is seeking a PR agency in Germany to provide public relations counsel as well as develop and implement a communications programme.The agency will also be working with other agencies hired by EDB as well as the EDB offices in Germany and Singapore.The contract period is from June 2013 to March 2014 with an option to extend for an additional two periods of 12 months each, until March 2016.An EDB spokesperson also told Marketing the current contract with incumbent agency, Grayling Germany, expires this year.The tender closes on 26 February.EDB also appointed Edelman as its public relations agency for PR and marketing efforts in UK and Ireland for one year with the option to extend for another year. Earlier this year, the board also called for a public relations agency in North America.Late last year, the board concluded its global pitch appointing The Secret Little Agency (TSLA), TBWA and MEC as its creative, digital and media agencies respectively while R3 was appointed as its consultant for financial auditing and agency performance management.
