Five agencies have been shortlisted for the second round of the Economic Development Board (EDB) ‘s integrated marketing pitch which was called in September. According to EDB, over 40 submissions were made across the four markets.
The finalists for the domestic tender are Hakuhodo Singapore, BBH, Publicis Singapore, as well as incumbents TBWA Singapore and TSLA, which manage EDB’s digital and creative accounts respectively.
Hakuhodo Singapore has also been shortlisted for the Japan market, along with agencies such as Dentsu Singapore, AD Planet Daiko and I&S BBDO.
Meanwhile for the US market, Doremus, Havas Worldwide New York, PNYC and Publicis New York have all made the first cut. The shortlisted agencies vying for the tender in Germany are Havas Worldwide Germany, CMGRP, Fischerappel and Scholz & Friends.
When the pitch was called in September, EBD issued two tenders: one for the international markets and another separately for the domestic market. Participating agencies were expected to fulfill an integrated through-the-line scope, comprising creative, PR, digital, media, social and events.
Global marketing consultancy R3 Worldwide was appointed by EDB to manage the tender process.
