Earnshaw joins Start to lead digital practice

Ahead of some big expansion plans, Start Asia has appointed Sara Earnshaw to lead its digital and mobile practice.

Earnshaw joins from Digitas London where she led the implementation of the Nissan digital marketing platform.

She will work closely with brand strategist Caroline Waite in Start’s consultancy practice to provide creative digital and mobile solutions as a core part of Start’s integrated brand strategy offer.

Start has also appointed Su Wei Tan as senior account manager from Progressive International Inc in Tokyo. She will work with account director Terry Lee, servicing clients across Mainland China and Asia Pacific.

Since launching in Hong Kong in March last year, Start Asia, the regional bub of Start Creative, the agency has grown to 16 people and managing director Jonathan Cummings said this will double by the year’s end. He said digital will be a fundamental part of this expansion.

On Earnshaw appointment Cummings described her as “incredibly passionate about digital communications”.

“Start is all about blending strategic insight with world-class creativity across every touchpoint, to deliver genuine results for our clients. Sara’s insight places her at the core of that offer.”
