E! transforms logo for International Women's Day

E! News, an entertainment media brand under NBCUniversal International Networks, will transform its logo into “SHE!” across broadcast, digital and social platforms for 24 hours on 8 March to commemorate International Women’s Day. On the programming front, E! will air a slate of popular female-driven shows such as episodes of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Very Cavallari and Busy Tonight.Starting 9 March, E! News will also begin a week-long series telling the stories of impactful women making great strides in their communities, from young female executive producers taking over Hollywood to powerful girl bosses running their own companies. Other interviewees include Afghanistan refugee turned investigative journalist Nelufar Hedayat who put herself in dangerous positions to uncover the black market, and famed photographer Kate Parker who is capturing the attention of celebrities as she features young aspirational girls looking to make a difference.Additionally, each episode of Busy Tonight airing on 18, 19 and 22 March will showcase strong women including activist and actress America Ferrara, comedian Margaret Cho, culinary expert Elizabeth Chambers, and actresses from hit shows One Day At A Time, Rita Moreno, Justina Machado, Gloria Calderon Kellett.In 2013, E! Asia set the media industry abuzz with announcement of its original production called "Wendy versus the World" starring controversial Singaporean blogger Wendy Cheng, or better known as Xiaxue. In the same year, the network also revamped its E! Entertainment  Television mobile app, as it looked to increase its digital presence in Asia.
