Disney unlocks Mystic Point mystery [GALLERY]

Hong Kong Disneyland reveals massive outdoor poster to promote its latest attraction, Mystic Point.Two mystic objects from Mystic Point have been made to crash into the parking lot next to the Cross-Harbour tunnel entrance.The ads have been developed to promote the positioning of ‘Unlock the Mystery' and hope to spark curiosity around the new attraction."The ad is a typical example of how we strive to create an innovative communications strategy," said Wendy Chu, director of marketing at Hong Kong Disneyland Resort."We wanted consumers to wonder if the visual they see is real by deceiving them with illusions. This gives them a flavor of the experience of the new ride at Mystic Point."Chu said frequent traffic jams at Cross-Harbour tunnel entrance mean it gives more time for passing cars to be amazed by the effect."We thought of creating some visually stunning impact yet with actual production that can be done by simple, existing and approved materials."The ads were initiated by Hong Kong Disneyland's in-house marketing team and supported by its media agency Mindshare.[gallery ids="17543,17544,17545"]
