Disney takes Google by storm

Disney has partnered up with Google Chrome to make a storm – similar to the one that transported Dorothy to Oz – on a microsite to promote the latest Hollywood blockbuster, The Road to Oz, starring James Franco.

Created by Unit9, the digital journey begins in a circus where users must find their way to Oz; they must navigate their way through tents, animal cages, hot air balloons and, finally, an eerily realistic thunderstorm.

During the odyssey, they will find mini-games like making a photo strip, mini movie and personal music box tune; and when players finally “find Oz” – the secret passageway is something that flies and has a basket (hint) – they’ll be led to the official trailer of the movie where James Franco shines in every angle under the sun, even with a moustache.
