Dimsum adds on Chromecast to its offerings

Dimsum, the latest subscription video-on-demand service in Malaysia, has now added Chromecast support to its Android and iOS apps. Subscribers can now cast shows and movies on Dimsum directly from smartphones, tablets or laptops to television screens.The Chromecast feature is available for both Android and iOS devices, as well as Windows 7 or later and Mac OS X 10.9 or above. Subscribers can conveniently cast any content on Dimsum from their list of cast-enabled devices to the Chromecast device that seamlessly displays the same content on TV.Lam Swee Kim, Dimsum’s chief marketing officer said, “Video streaming is becoming more and more relevant as consumers take to mobile devices as their source of entertainment. Over 80% of dimsum subscribers access their content on their mobile devices and that’s why we are extending these features for our subscribers. They can enjoy premium content in High Definition at an affordable price and stream onto TV."During this festive season, dimsum will lineup a series of festive movies and shows. Dimsum is currently available in Malaysia and Brunei.
